Privacy policy

Last updated · 10/16/2026

At Rythmos, we take your privacy seriously. This page describes how we handle information when you use rythmos.run, your account, clubs and the Rythmos for Garmin Connect Chrome extension.

01

1. Data we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email, first name and last name. If you connect Garmin, we store OAuth tokens needed to import or export workouts, with your authorization.

In a club, members see your display name and optionally your city. Workouts published in a club are visible to members. Public links
/share/
let anyone view a workout without an account.

02

2. How we use data

Data is used to run the service: authentication, workout sharing, club spaces, Garmin sync. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

03

3. Cookies and local storage

We use an authentication session cookie (Better Auth) and a language preference cookie (rythmos_locale). The Chrome extension may store pace preferences locally. We measure audience via Vercel Web Analytics (anonymized stats, no advertising cookies). No advertising cookies are used.

04

4. Security

Communications are secured via HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We apply reasonable measures to protect your information.

06

6. Chrome extension

The Rythmos for Garmin Connect extension accesses workout information on Garmin Connect with your consent, to import it into your Rythmos account. No data is sent to third parties outside rythmos.run.

7. Changes

This policy may be updated. Any change will be published on this page with a new update date.
